Do you mean: How old was Mary when Edward VI died?
Edward VI died at the age of 15 on July 6, 1553 of tuberculosis. He did not want the crown to pass to Mary, for he feared that she would restore the Roman Catholic faith, undo the reformist movements he'd made during his six year reign, and burn people for their faith. He exculeded her form the line of succession illegally because this was in contridiction to the Act of Succession passed by his father, Henry VIII, which restored Mary and their younger sister Elizabeth to the succession. Edward was guided by the Duke of Northumberland John Dudley and other counsilors to exclude both sisters from his will. He did as they advised and left his throne to his couisn, the Lady Jane Grey. She was the granddaughter of Henry VIII's sister Queen Mary of France and Duchess of Suffolk. Mary lead an invasion force that displaced Jane as Queen and had her inprisoned.
Mary was 37 both when her brother died and she assended to the throne of England.

Edward VI of England reigned for only 6 years and 159 days- put plainly, it lasted from 1547, when his father Henry VIII died, to 1553, when he changed his father's will and named his couisn Jane Grey his heir instead of his sister Mary, becasue Mary was a Catholic and both Edward and Jane were fierce Protestants. Edward was crowned when he was nine years old, and died aged 15 in 1553 of tubercolosis.
Mary Tudor or Bloody Mary's brother was Edward VI
