Greek scholar and philosopher Eratosthenes (276 BC - 195 BC) figured out that the length of the shadow at exactly noon, drawn from a stick of a certain length, stuck in the ground in Aswan, Egypt, was of a different length than the shadow at exactly noon, drawn from a similar stick in Alexandria, Egypt. From this, the circumference of the Earth was calculated, and the diameter and radius soon followed.

The smallest calculated atomic radius is for lutetium - 217 pm.
The circumference of a circle is calculated by multiplying the radius by 2xPI PI is approximately 3.141 This means the radius can be calculated by dividing the circumference by 2xPI
For any object, the mass is the product of its volume and its density. In the case of Earth, that would be the averagedensity. The volume, of course, can be calculated on the basis of its radius. Use the formula for a sphere; that's close enough for most purposes.
It is about 0.949 times Earth's radius.
The atomic radius is calculated by spctroscopic or X-ray methods.
If you are a believer, then God did but if you are not, then nobody did. The radius of the earth existed and therefore ots radius did before there was any form of life on earth to invent it.
