How do you set the homelink garage opener in 2007 Toyota sequoia?

First, park you Sequoia in front of the garage door you want to sync. You need to hold down the button for garage door opener on the overhead pannel until the corresponding indicator light starts blinking. Then walk over to the garage door motor and push the button on the back of the motor (it's usually red). That will send a signal to your Sequoia, that will be stored by by the garage door button. That should do it!

Programming homelink in Toyota?

Here are the simple instructions to get your HomeLink to work with your toyota. This applies for a Toyota Sienna 2005-2010 this is how I finally figured out how to program my HomeLink revolving code garage door opener. 1. you have to wipe out your old codes. Hold HomeLink 1 & 3 for 20 seconds. 2. you have to set the HomeLink into revolving code mode by "trying to teach it" using your remote for your garage door hold remote 1 inch from the HomeLink unit in your Toyota. Press and hold the HomeLink button you want to program and your remote garage door openner at the same time for 20 seconds. Now pressing the HomeLink button should blink very fast which means its in Revolving Code mode. 3. Only now that the HomeLink is in revolving code mode can you really teach it. You now set your Garage Opener into Learning/Training mode by pressing the button inside your garage door opener. Now you have 30 seconds to get back to your Toyota and Hold the same HomeLink button for two seconds until it goes from fast blinking to solid, then do this once more for 2 seconds and again it will flash fast for the first two seconds then go solid. 4. Your HomeLink in your Toyota should now be programmed correctly to open/close your garage door but you must hold it for the two seconds each time as it goes from fast flashing to a solid color in order to open/close your garage door. It took me 30 minutes to figure out the trick but now I can program all 3 of my home links in about 1 minute each following the steps above (except for #1 which clears all the old codes initially :) One thing to add for Canadian users (such as me). In step 2 where you are "trying to teach", the instructions are slightly different for Canadian users. Canadian law limits the signal sent out to a maximum 2 second burst (US has no limitation). So once you are holding the desired HomeLink button down, instead of also holding the garage door opener remote button down, you have to click madly like a maniac sending out burst after burst. Position the garage door opener close enough to the HomeLink receiver in your Sienna so that they are actually touching. Then hold down the desired HomeLink button, and start clicking your garage remote like a madman while moving it around against the HomeLink receiver. The HomeLink light on your Sienna will start to blink quickly when it accepts the signal (should only take about 3-4 seconds). Release both buttons. Then when you push and hold the HomeLink button, you should see it flash very quickly as Charles described. Proceed to step 3. The second push of step 3 when you hold in the HomeLink button for 2 seconds will actually open (or close) your garage door.

How do you program the built in garage door opener Buick Riviera?

1. In the car, press and HOLD the outer two HomeLink buttons until the HomeLink light begins to flash rapidly. This will clear any old codes left in the car's controls. 2. Take the garage remote and hold it near the HomeLink buttons. Press and HOLD BOTH the garage remote and one of the HomeLink buttons until the HomeLink light begins to flash rapidly. Now your car has learned the proper garage door code, but you must get "permission" from the garage door opener itself before it will let the Buick open the door: 3. Climb up on a ladder and press the "Learn" button on the back of the garage door opener. WITHIN 30 SECONDS, get back into the car and press the programmed HomeLink button 3 times, for about 2 seconds each time. When the garage light flashes, your code is locked in! (Different door opener power heads have different routine to "learn" the HomeLink remote. Consult your owner manual for the door opener power head to program it to learn mode.) How do you set Garage Door Opener On 2008 Lexus IS250?

There are 3 programmable Homelink buttons you can use for different remotes. Just to the right of the buttons there is an indicator light. Decide which button you want to program. Point the none battery end of your remote 1"-3" away from the Homelink panel and press both the remote and desired Homelink button down and hold them down at the same time. After about 20 seconds, the Homelink indicator light will change from a slow flashing to a rapid flashing. You can then release both buttons, If the garage door responds to the Homelink, your done! If not, your garage door uses a rolling codes transmitter and must be trained. Find the training button on your garage door opener's transmitter (usually mounted on the ceiling). Press the training button and within 30 seconds press and release the programmed Homelink button twice. If the garage door opener operates, you're done! If not, press and release the Homelink button a third time and the garage door should respond. If it still does not, you may have a very old garage door opener with a none digital transmitter (like I did). In that case, you either need to buy a new opener or try to replace the transmitter with a modern digital unit (as I did). Advantage: cheaper than a whole new garage door opener. Disadvantage: The newer openers incorporate safety features that my old opener does not have.
