In a few states both the primary borrower and the cosigner must be notified by the lender through a "Right To Cure" notice before repossession action can occur. In Wisconsin a replevin order is necessary before a repossession can take place, but the cosigner is not always notified. In the majority of states the lender does not need to give either the primary or the cosigner notice of repossession action.

You should be more descriptive when giving information. By this I mean, make sure you give specific times the deals are occurring, how many people are involved, and who the people are.
If you know where the owners have gone to, or can be contacted, hopefully you had a contract with them that described or itemized the pieces. Armed with this agreement you should be able to retrieve them. If not, you may have to resort to a suit to recover them.
