Best Answer

That depends on what happened to the soup before it was refrigerated and the temperature of the refrigerator.

Use it up within a week. If that's not going to happen, consider freezing it.

If it is refrigerated immediately after it was made, 3-5 days as long as it is kept at 40 degrees or lower.

If it is not refrigerated, 1-2 hours unless reheated to a boil for 10 minutes to kill any bacterial growth.

put it in the fridge it last up to 3 days Keep it in the freezer.

Whenever you put soup away, boil it and put it in containers or jars. Refrigerate it while it's still hot.

When you remove soup from a container, boil up the remainder.

Store soup in small containers as opening them invites bacteria. Vegetable soups last longer than soups made with chicken or beef broth.

Transfer the soup to a bowl or container with a lid or other means of sealing, such as foil. Seal it good and place it in the refrigerator. You should use the soup within three days of refrigeration.

You have to put it in a container and then put it on the bottom shelf so that if the soup spills, it won't get on any of the other foods

It depends on how long you want to store it for. I personally, freeze mine for up to two months. I'm assuming you should be able to can it though.
