If you want to know how to get community service hours, try this: 1. Try donating blood - you get the hours for your CAS, you feel good about it, you save lives. And then in the evaluation it gives you plenty to write on as to 'what I learnt from this'. 2. Ask your principal if you can dress up as a mascott for a sports day (I was the cookie monster! It was great fun!). 3. Ask family friends if their children need free school tutoring or help reading books. 4. Join a volunteer group - like planting trees, teaching horse riding to the disabled, doing creche, working as a volunteer at a hospital, etc. 5. Take a first aid course! Not only do you get some EXCELLENT life-saving skills here, it gets you plenty of CAS hours, and it looks superb on a resume!!! :D Basically, you should ask your family and friends for any ideas. Some people at my school have even been making clothes for premature babies at hospitals, seeing as no clothes are produced at factories for them because they don't have as much of a market as 'normal' babies.
