The teachings of confucius could prevent rebellions because confucius taught people that not ever body is perfect, but u could be perfect, he wanted there to be peace,and he made peace, and peace prevents rebellions.

The above answer is correct in that Confucius did point out that Humankind are not perfect. His teachings are based solely on this. His teachings highlighted the foibles an follies of humans. Confucius was a high government official who became disgusted with the lax morality he witnessed in high places; the very ones who should be setting good life examples for the public. He was particularly appaled by their sexual indiscretions & marital infidelity. He stood for family unity and proper behaviour by which people may lead happy balanced healthy lives. This was most unlikely to cause popular rebellion! He was not a dogmatic preacher rather a thinker and raconteur. He did however gain the deep anger and resentment of the government as his teachings & recorded sayings were thinly veiled attacks on their known immorality. They were forced to reform themselves at least at a surface level.
