How to Replace a head gasket on a 91 1.5 crx hv 5 speed?
$800.00 parts and labor
if your car is getting hot its usually the first clue... if its smoking (coolant out of the exhuast) or is making exsesive pressure in the coolant system its from a bad head gasket letting water in the cylinders and then exiting out the exhuast or vicversa pushing air from the cylinders in the coolant system... either way if its doing that it most deffinatley the head gasket
It could be a Head Gasket, Thermostat, water pump, bad radiator or just needs coolant. start with the cheapest which is a thermostat.
look for coolant in the oil and do a compression test. two adjacent cylinders with low compression will indicate a blown headgasket.
If it's the Civic CRX 1.5Ltr engine code EW3the head bolts can be reused
yes i replace my crx wheels with 17" tenzo r racing rims
143mph

The speed sensor is what sends signals to the speedometer to display how fast a car is traveling. To find it on a 1990 Honda Crx Si it will be mounted on top of the transmission housing.
I believe the crx si came with a d series engine, unless it was a jdm crx. basically if your crx has a single over head cam motor ( SOHC ) then it is D series which means no your crx tranny can not bolt up to an integra. Since integras are all B series engines or Dual over head cam ( DOHC ) usuall the b18a1 or b1 unless gsr .
If it is white, Then it is not oil. It is engine coolant / Antifreeze burning / leaking into the combustion chamber. You either have got it to hot and it blowed a head gasket are even have warped the head. You need to pressure test the coolant system to make sure.
