the parking brake on 01 3500's are self adjusting. the only other way to further adjust the parking brake is to adjust the starwheels on the back side of the backing plate. there will be a small rubber plug on the top side of the backing plate pull that plug and crank the starwheeels with a small flat blade screwdriver until there is a slight drag. if this does not help the shoes will need to be replaced. this is done by pulling the wheels, axles then the axle nut keeper pin, then the 2 9/16 axle nut, followed by the wheel bearing, then the drum/rotor will slide off where you can service the parking brake assy.
