I own a 2005 jeep Cherokee my headlights on the passenger side is not working changed the bulbs & they are still not working.

The proper way to align your headlights would be to take it to a good shop where they have a device that fits onto the light that will set it perfectly level and straight . Most shops won't even charge you.
You would not drive it at night or when the law says you must display headlights.

pull out on the end of the stalk that has your headlights on it

Most state inspection stations have alighment machines. you dont
heck the fuse first, then the switch.
Jeep Wrangler's don't have any way of reminding you when the headlights are on when you close the door because the doors aren't really part of the jeep.
