you need to crawl under and remove all the transmission pan bolts, and drop the pan into a fairly large container kinda messy job let all the fluid drain out, clean the gasket surface on the pan and wipe any metal shavings that get left in the pan as the transmission wears. put in a new filter,and gasket, bolt the pan back up make sure to tighten all bolts up evenly be careful not to cross thread or strip the housing (aluminum can strip easily) and add the proper Transmission Fluid through the dip stick tube. you need a skinny funnel. check the level with engine running in park or neutral and check for leaks see owners manual for amount of new fluid to add and shift through the gears a few times slowly till you feel the trans start to engage that should do it good luck l
