There is a fuse that protects that circuit. Remove the fuse - the DRL's go out. .

go to a Honda dealership and get them to program it for you :)

Daytime running lights on a Honda Civic are the same as normal headlights. To fix or replace them, locate the headlight housing in the front of the car. Remove the plastic housing and replace the bulbs.

Shut the engine off. They're supposed to be on all the time the car is running.

Short of pulling the fuse that protects that circuit - no.

you can if you get it from canada, only they will have it on their del sol's. the u.s. does not have that option but you can put them on.

I don't know if this circuit is isolated from all others in your vehicle but I just did this on a 99 Honda Odyssey by pulling a 7.5 amp fuse inside the vehicle. I am under the impression that this will protect the HIDs I installed. I'm assuming YOU are asking this for a similar purpose. Cheers,

Check your owners manual for the location of your daytime running light module. The manual should have a diagram with its exact location.

Simple answer is "you don't". The whole idea behind DLR's is that you are easier to see in any kind of weather. The lights are on a separate circuit and operate at a lower wattage. Unless the vehicle is equipped with automatic 'lights on' you have to remember to manually switch on at dusk so that you have rear lights. Why would anyone want to disable a safety feature?? I understand your answer to this question: "Why would anyone want to disable a safety feature?" Simple, The daytime running lights are in some congressmen(s) opinion a necessary evil. This question has numerous opinions depending on who you ask.DRL's were at one point congressionally mandated, but not anymore. If a car is sold with them enabled, then you have the ability to disable them, you will possibly lose some car insurance discount. Some cars come without them. My 2005 Honda Accord came without them. My 2006 Honda Accord came with them. Of course I will disable them, just on a temporay basis. I like total control of my headlights. That's why I'm intertaining the thought of disabling them.

The best headlights that you can purchase for a 1992 Honda Civic for night driving on the daytime running lights. You can also purchase those fog lamps as well.

Hey E==The running lights have a module which may be bad. Good luckJoe

It is possible - you must splice the fog light power leads into the DRL circuit and they should come on as the DRL's would.

when I replace the fuse for the interior lights on my 2004 CVR the alarm sounds, can I simply disconnect the power to the alarm (if I can locate it) to disable it,......

not with just your daytime running lights. but when you turn your park lights and low beams on, it should light up. not that big of a deal though

If you are referring to the Daytime Running Lights (DRL's), no. When you are not moving you can turn them out by activating the parking brake, but there is no way to turn them off without actually pulling out the fuse that controls the circuit. Careful though, I don't know what effect this might have when you actually want to turn your lights on at night.

6Exact same problem. I'm not sure how to fix quite yet, but I do know. It's the Daytime Running Lights "DRL" Notice if you turn on your lights the DRL light turns off. There's ome sort of daytime running lights box that's starting to go. It's about 200 bux to fix at a dealership. But there's gotta be a better way.

Typically one cannot disable a drl on the 2003 Honda Accord because it is a required safety feature. To disable the drl you would have to take it to any Honda service center and have them disable the drl for you. They would have to disconnect the required attachments to successfully disable the drl without compromising the rest of the mechanisms.

if it's a Canada model, it's the daytime running lights relay, if us model, then check headlamp relay located in underhood fuse box (also that's where drl relay is)

To disable an alarm on a Honda Civic locate the brain of the system. The brain controls the alarm. Unplug the brain from the wire harness.

The warning lights on a Honda Accord are the same as the warning lights on most other cars.
