All Sentra sun visors are the same from 1995-1999.
I saw a Sentra with a visor that wouldn't stay up. The owner had taken sticky backed velcro and attached small pieces to the roof and the mating piece to the back of the visor. It seemed to work well, but I think the sticky might let go in very hot weather. A lot of sellers on eBay have the sun visor clips for sale. Best of luck! <Correction> The sun visor on my 1997 Nissan Sentra wont stay up either. On close inspection it has nothing to do with the sun visor clips. It looks like the dysfunction is within the visor itself. I don't see any way to repair this without buying a new/used visor.

I have an older Murano, and all I had to do was pull the plastic part on the left hand side off, and then unscrew (2 screws) the visor and then unclip the power cord (if yours has a lighted mirror). The process is reversed to put it back on. May I ask why you are replacing the sun visor? My visor is broken (it flops down instead of staying put where I want it), and I have been looking for a new one that is tan. Is your old one for sale? Maybe I can use the parts....E-mail me @ adamfsay@yahoo.com if you are willing to talk....
The wires from the sun visor run through the visor to the bracket that connects to the roof. Depending on your bracket you can either unscrew it right away and you can see the screws or you may have to remove a cap. The cap is usually just a small piece of plastic that you can pop up with a flat head screw driver. Once the visor is disconnected from your roof you can find the wire connection and unplug it.

Hi, I have a2002 Doge Ram. The driver side sunvisor falls down when I go over a big bump or dont hold it when putting it up. I took it off and found the rod inside broken. Then, I did a little research and found out it is a common problem, design fault. I called the dodge dealer and he knew about it and dodge redesigned the visor. So now if you want to replace the visor, not only do you have to buy a new visor, but you also have to buy the little clip that the visor clips in to. I am going to cut down the back of the visor, see how it works inside, maybe come up with a repair and probably ruin it and have to cough up the 55.00 to buy a new visor.......
