∙ 15y agoBlack spots are caused by what is known as "cobalting". If the pool really is "new", you were taken. You should contact an attorney and demand a refund, removal of the pool, and compensatory damages. A "new" pool falls under the category of implied warranty (any product less than one year of age). I would suggest you move quickly, the longer you delay, the more credibility will be given to the seller and his claims that you caused the damage because of improper chemical usage.
