Resistors are color coded to denote the value of the resistor as well as the multiplier. In your case a 470 ohm would be colored as Yellow Violet Brown corresponding to 4, 7 and a multiplier of 10^1.

How many amps will you get on a 9 volt battery with a 100 ohm resistor and a 100 ohm resistor and a 470 ohm resistor?

You need to calculate the equivalent resistance. For instance, if the three resistors are connected in series, simply add all the resistance values up. Then, you calculate the current (in amperes) using Ohm's Law (V=IR); that is, you need to divide the voltage by the resistance.

A 5 ohm resistor a 10 ohm resistor and a 15 ohm resistor are connected in series to a 120 volt power source. What is the amount of current flowing between the 5 ohm resistor and the 10 ohm resistor?

The current would be about 20 volts.

A 120 ohm resisto a 60 ohm resistor and a 40 ohm resistor are connected in parallel to a 120 volt power source What is the current running through the 60 ohm resistor?

If they're in parallel, then each resistor acts as if it were the only one,and the presence of any others is irrelevant. The current through the 60-ohm resistor is I = E/R = (120/60) = 2 amperes.
