There is going to be some variance depending on the type. The ones I have installed have a track on each side for the ends of the door to ride in and the unit sits on top of this and is bolted to the wall. This gives you the correct height. Wind the spring and adjust as needed. They are fairly simple to install, not as many pieces as a regular garage door. Make sure the side tracks are plumb and the correct distance apart. Not a lot of play when it comes to that.
Buy one of those cheap draft stoppers that slip under your door or roll up a towel and put it at the base of the door. Another alternative is to install weather stripping on the door.

it's not something for an inexperienced person but! here is my answer. build roll tracks, that u can put wheels in.(these must be two sided) make absolutely sure they are identical but reversed. attach your pieces, and wheels. this in theory should allow the roll up door to be moveable.
