It is most likely a broken window regulator or bad electric motor. Don't know about the cost of the motor but the regulator will run $40-$70 + labor to install.
The window motor is attached to the window regulator by screws. After removing the door trim you must detach the regulator from the door by drilling-out four rivits. Then remove the screws from the old motor and install the new motor. Re-attach the regulator with bolts and put the trim back on the door.
You must replace the entire regulator. Here's howhttp://www.ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/repair-topics/window-power-repair/replace-a-power-window-regulator

First, remove the switch panel by prying it out and disconnecting the electrical?æconnectors. Pry away the trim panel so that you can get to the mechanical workings of the window.
