How to locate flasher unit on a 2000 gran vitari xl7 I looked under dash at fuse box area and no luck?
The flasher relay switch is located below the dashboard on the drivers side of the passenger compartment. The flasher unit is round and about the size of a half dollar. The unit simply plugs in and out.
You have two places to look for your Flasher relay. Start under the hood on the drivers side there is a Black Box open it and look inside there should be a label telling you what each one is. The Other is under the dash and will require some effert to locate. Suggest you have the replacement in hand to help you locate it. Hope This Helps. Oilman
I have a 1999 Bonneville SE and the emergency flasher is under the dash, above the brake pedal. You have to remove screws holding the lower dash on get under and look straight up skyward. It is a small silver canister clipped to an internal metal support. Near the steering column. Now i am looking for the turn signal flasher which i have been unable to locate.
RV manufacturers usually locate the flasher under the dash near the steering column. The easiest way to find it is to turn on the turn signal and listen for the click. You will also feel it click when you touch it. If the flasher is not working or does not click, turn on the four-way flashers and try to find that flasher. The turn signal flasher is usually located near it. Hope this helps.
Where is the turn signal flasher located in a 1997 Dodge Intrepid Looked in fuse box in car and in motor compartment Nothing listed for turn signal flasher?
I don't have a diagram, and I'm certainly not an expert, but I did have to locate the flasher on a 96 Lumina sedan and replace it. It wasn't easy to find even knowing where it should be. You have to remove the panel under the steering column and it will be farthest from you on the very front near the floor.
The question is for a 1997 sonoma however the answer refers to a 1994 sonoma, and after trying this on my 1997 sonoma with no luck I found the answer under "Where is the flasher unit on a 1997 Chevy S10?" which is exactly where I found the flasher units for my 1997 sonoma and it was indeed the right flasher unit which was for the signal. Answer I have a 94 Sonoma and to…
Sometimes one side of the flasher still works so I turn it on that side and follow the sound. If both sides are shot, try manually moving the wand to try to get it to click; then follow the sound; If no sound they are generally located on or very near the upper part of the column. The hazard flasher is a different circuit. Good luck.
On a '90 Lebarron, it was hidden up under the dash on the right side of the steering wheel. An easy way to locate it is buy the part then match it. However, I believe the original was brite orange, and maybe the replacement was black. It did not look like typical flasher modules. It was rectangular, plastic covered.
Hi, I have to add that I have a '97 and I went out to find the flasher. All I can say is that I can hear it, but I can't find the darn thing. It sounds as if it's near the radio...but I'm befuddled. So just a small thing is the fuse first, it's located below the dash on the left. The other fuse is under the hood but that one is also for…
if it,s the same than the 1996, you,ll have to sit on the floor beside the car on the driver side with the door open. try to locate a square box under the dash between the driving column and the fuses box.it's pluged front direction wit2 clips, one under and the other on top. You can buy the replacing flasher for 13$ and it,s a 3 poles connection. you shoul'nt have big hand to do this.
Not sure if your looking for the flasher fuse or the flasher itself. Both flashers (blinker and flasher) are located under the steering column, you need to take our about 6 screws in all and two panels come off. This isn't the fuse box under there, but right above it. A good tip for finding flashers; Both flasher boxes are usually in the same location, so follow the clicking of the flasher box that does…
