Another simple remedy for an ear infection has worked for us and our children every time: one drop of garlic oil/clear garlic juice in half a teaspoon of warm oil (olive, almond, something natural) poured directly into the ear. Massage under the ear to make sure it penetrates into the canal fully.
Also if you continually drink white milk, it brings comfort.

∙ 12y agoUsually applying heat helps. So if you have one of those heat packs, boil/put it in the microwave, and place it on your ear. Make sure it's not too hot though. It should go away within 2-3 days, if not, you should probably see a doctor about it, especially if it gets worse.
