You do not specify what type of bike battery but I assume you mean a motorcycle.
Most bike batteries should only be charged at a very slow rate and most often with a charger that puts out 1 1/2 amps. These chargers are commonly called "Trickle Chargers" or "Maintainers" and most auto parts stores sell them. Also it is important that the battery is full of electrolyte. If it is not a SEALED battery you should be able to add water to bring it up to the correct level. Do not t use tap water (I have in the past but very little) get DISTILLED water it is the best choice.
