The ECU, on your 1998 Toyota Corolla, is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The unit is on the drivers side of the engine compartment. Firewall.
Under the glove compartment. You must remove the decorative panel cover first. And it is in the top right corner under the glove box
Behind the glove compartment.
Remove your glove compartment. Look to the right side inside. Look for 2 screws, remove 2 screws. Lift up on wires, unplug wires from resistor. Plug in new resistor into wires. Screw the screws back in, reinstall glove compartment.
First you are going to remove the passenger side kick panel then the rocker plastic piece. from there you need to remove the glove box. open te glove box remove the 3 skrews where the striker is the there are two 10mm hex head bolts that need removal. then remove glove box assembly and now you have full access to the blower motor.
