I`m not sure but my grandson has removed the sending unit on a 1992 Nesson hard boady XE 4X4 pick-up. He lifted the bed and it is right there on the fuel tank. Only proplem he needs a new sending unit (that holds the fuel pump) Can`t find one every body keeps saying they don`t make them anymore.
The fuel sending unit is located n the fuel pump which is in the fuel tank. You have to drop the fuel tank, pull out the fuel pump, replace the fuel sending unit, and then put back together. ~105.00 in parts to do yourself, or ~500.00 for parts/labor at the dealer.
its attatched to the fuel sending unit inside the tank, under back seat passenger side. and is non serviceable. must replace sender unit
how do you replace the fuel sending unit
The fuel tank has to be removed to gain access to the fuel sending unit. The fuel sending unit and the fuel pump is replaced as a unit.
This depends on what sending unit you are speaking of. If it's a fuel sending unit, this is in the gas tank. You will have to drop the fuel tank to do this.
The fuel sending unit is part of the fuel pump module. To replace it you must drop the gas tank.
you have to remove the fuel pump it is connected to it, it has to be replace as one unit
Lower the Gas tank. Remove the sending unit/fuel pump from the tank and replace the unit. The sending unit and fuel pump come together.
Yes you have to drop the fuel tank to access the fuel gauge sending unit on top of the tank.
You will have to replace the fuel module which consists of the pump, sending unit and sock filter. Which means you will have to remove the fuel tank.
Drop the tank pull the sending unit and the pump is in the sending unit to swap u might have to replace the hole sending unit to be able to get the pump
We need to know which sending unit you speak of. There are several on that vehicle such as temperature sending unit, oil pressure sending unit and fuel gauge sending unit.
