Just had to do this. At the top outside edge of the headlight assembly, where it meets the turn signal assembly, there is a space you can put a finger through and push down a plastic tab. It's not hard to see if you know it is there. With the tab pushed down, the whole turn signal assembly can be pulled forward and out.
