ya but sometimes the pice that the tool is pushing in to release the raido is broken or has fallen down somehow, i just couldn't get mine so i ripped off the face of the old raido to where i could see those little pieces holding it is to press them down to remove it. as long as you don't want to keep the old raido this works quite well
