The thermostat is located on the driver's side of the engine directly below the throttle body. It is inside the aluminum housing that the upper radiator hose attaches to. There are two 13 mm bolts holding the housing on. Both bolts must be removed using a 13mm wrench, there is not enough clearance to use a socket. Be patient it is difficult. Make sure you use a new thermostat gasket.
