i belive what has happend is that the cams have jumped time because the water pump ring has broken and caused this ,now your forenza has a 7 yr 100k powertrain warranty.
To change a heater core on a 2006 Forenza takes less than 30 mins. the cost should be 80 bucks total at any mechanic , . . its not difficult to get to , and if i have time i will repost how to install word for word later
That depends on the car. Most of the time it won't work. If you're thinking of a straight swap with no other work, than no it wont work. You're better off getting after market cams made for you car's engine
The timing belt and the pulleys on the front of the engine have white marks that you align.
gut the whole front of engine past the timing belt, alot of work ,remember to keep cams in time when you do this.
I use 5w-30 in mine. valvaline. depending on what time of the year it is though (winter or summer) you'll want to use a thicker or thinner oil. sometimes in the summer if the oil is too thin, it triggers the engine oil light to come on. if u use too thick of an oil in the winter, you'll have trouble starting it. if been dealing with this for a couple years now. i bought mine in 07. hope this helps.
