remove the battery for 10 minutes reconnect it and start the car wait for the car until its stable and the engine is running smooth. that is done after changing the filters and the spark plugs.

We have a 1995 Mitsubishi Montero (the people that brought your the fighter ZERO) and when it came time for a tune-up we couldn't get the plugs out. The car dealer here charged us over 500 dollars for a tune up and they had to remove the top part of the engine to reach the plugs, hence the large dollar value. We will NEVER own another Mitsubishi again! Good luck:)
