open the fuse panel to expose the fuses. If there is a location guide or chart of fuses, remove the one labeled "drl." If there is no chart, look in the owners manual, it is listed with a diagram. I have found this to be the easiest way on a 97 model. On a 97 there is two fuses that control drl, one is a shared fuse and one is only drl. Make sure you pull the one that is strictly drl if yours has it.
on my 93 civic, there are 5 separate fuses for headlights. left low beam, right low beam, left high beam, right high beam, and daytime runner
PlasticX is a remover for headlight oxidation that is cheap, works well and can be bought at Walmart. 3M also has a headlight restoration kit that can be bought at most department stores.
I own a 2000 Ford Explorer. It does not have daytime running lights. However, if you bought the Explorer in Canada, by law all new vehicles made or imported after January 1, 1990 are required to have DRLs. Some were equipped with them in 1975.Too bad the mentality in the US is to equip cars with countless useless accessories, and ignore this simple and effective safety measure.
mine doesn't, i just bought it after my suzuki was totaled and i needed a car fast. there are spaces for them but no bulbs that i can see. i just e-mailed the corporation about it, so all i can do now is wait for there answer.
It was not this program and was the old cancelled network daytime program that had the shopping
The 2002 Honda accord headlight changing diagram can be obtained from most Honda dealerships. The diagram can also be obtained from the auto-parts store where you bought the new headlight.
There are many places that one can find a Pontiac Solstice in the UK. One can buy it either new or on sale. It is really cheap if bought on sale. If bought new, it is rather expensive.
When my Sunfire had this problem, the cause was a burned out high-beam section of the left headlight. It appears that in the daytime running light mode, the high-beam sections are connected in series and if one burns out, they both go out. (Just like XMAS lights) I found this by turning on the headlights and walking out to the front of the car and looking to see if both lamps were on during both low and high-beam operation. The bulb is easy to replace by removing a couple of screws and removing the entire assembly and from the rear of the lamp housing, simply twist the bulb counter clockwise and out it comes. I decided to replace both the left and right bulbs while I was at it and the package came with two bulbs anyway. Hope this solves your problem. i just bought a 1996 pontaic sunfire for my son the day light running lights wont come on and when i flip it from hi beam to low beam i have no lights can you help me and also how and the heck do you change the licene plate bulb thanks terry crisfieldmd@verizon.net
