All picture in picture and split screen options require a dual tuner set up. If you are running off a cable box or satellite you will need to split the cable and feed it into the separate tuner connections in the back of the set, then the pip will work. Make sure the split is before the cable box or you will just be able to see a smaller version of what is already on the screen.
