you get good at life LOL
The Renault car does not come with a hot wired car horn. However, you can splice the wire and hot wire the horn yourself.
I used to have a replica on my pickup. All you have to do is have a hot wire that is connected to a aluxary switch to the horn. The horn must have a good mounting for a ground or a ground wire.
The horn is either damage or the ground wire going to the horn is grounding out on metal or another ground wire. Trace the ground wire. The horn contacks within your horn pad might be grounding out also.
Broken Or Disconnected Wire To The Horn. Check For Voltage When Horn Button Is Pushed At The Wire After Removing It From The Horn. On A Vet Probably Not Grounded.
To wire up a car horn with a button you first need to run one of the wires from the horn to the battery. Take 1of the wires from the horn and run it to where you want the button to go. Connect the wire to the button and that's it.
the horn has a ground and hot wire .usually only a hot wire because the horn body is grounded.it also has a horn relay.check the wires(wire)and check the relay.if these are good, the horn may be shot.this is all assuming the horn button or contacts at the steering wheel are good.
Look in the engine compartment and look for your horn. It will have one wire sticking out of it. Cut the wire with wire cutters and your horn will never sound again.
hook a wire up to the (+) side of the battery and put it to the horn if the horn blows it a good horn if not replace the horn
everywhere i have read says it is the yellow/green wire in the driver kick off the ecu plug.
To the right of the Coolant temperature sensor. It has 1 wire connector
Go to www.the12volt.com they will have your wiring diagram for free.
Most horn buttons provide the ground to energize the horn relay. The horn relay when triggered sends power to the horn.
