thinking that you are wiring up a diesel. run 1 pos. cable to the starter, the other to the pos. that you sent down to the starter. Then ground each off your gound wires to the engine or any metal connected to engine. It it also a good idea to run another ground from your trany bell housing to the frame of your truck. Make sure that it is up and out of the way of getting caught on any road hazards. LATER

Why does your Chevy Trailblazer have two batteries?

It doesn't have 2 batteries..

How do you wire 3 12 volt batteries to get 24 volts?

You do not need three 12 volt batteries to get 24 volts, all you need is two batteries. So I assume by using three batteries you want to increase the amperage. Wire two of the batteries in series and then wire the third battery to the second battery in parallel and you will have 24 bolts. Or you can just wire two 12 V batteries in series to get 24 V.

How do you shorten batteries?

connect its two terminals with a wire.

How do you connect two twelve volt batteries for a truck?

Assuming the truck has a 12 volt system, connect the batteries in parallel, that is positive to positive and negative to negative.

What is two batteries in a circuit called?

If the batteries are connected from + (positive) to - (negative) then the batteries are connected in "series". If the batteries are AA (1.5v each), then the resulting voltage of the two connected in series will be 3.0v. If the batteries are connected + to + and - to -, then they are connected in "parallel" and for the same batteries the voltage would be 1.5v, but would last twice as long as one battery by itself. A truck battery system is two 12v batteries connected in series (+ to -) to give the truck a running power of 24v.

Will wiring 2 batteries in series hurt your boat?

Depends on the battery size. If your boat is a 12 volt system and you wire two 12 volt batteries in series you then have 24 volts. If the batteries are 6 volt batteries you will be fine. If you have a 12 volt system on your boat and want to use two batteries then wire two 12 volt batteries in parallel. You will still have 12 volts but will have double the amperage available and this will extend the running time of the batteries.

Will 2007 Chevy truck rims fit a 2009 Chevy truck?

It depends on the 2009 Chevy truck's tire size. If the two trucks have the same size tires and rims, then yes; the 2007 rims will fit on the 2009 truck.

Can you wire two 6 volt batteries together maintaining 6 volts but wire a separate plug off the batteries in such a way as to have a single isolated 12 volt plug?

Yes, series the two batteries to produce 12 volts. Tap off of the two end terminals for the 12 volts. Tap off of the series jumper for the 6 volts of one of the batteries. The two 6 volt batteries can not be paralleled in this connection as they will short out.

How can you wire 4-12 VDC batteries together to get 24 VDC out of them?

You would connect two 12-v batteries in series to get 24 Volts, but if you have four, you can connect two sets of batteries in parallel and then connect the two sets of parallel batteries in series, giving you 24 volts with twice the ampere-hour capacity (four batteries rather than two).

How do you put 2 batteries in series?

Wire minus - to positive +. Know that this will increase the voltage but the amps will stay the same. Wire two 12 volt batteries together in series and you have 24 volts. Click the link.

How do you wire two scooter batteries to power24v motor?

With the two batteries side by side connect a jumper wire from the positive post on one battery to the negative post on the other. The remaining neg and pos posts on each battery will supply the 24V your looking for.
