How was Andrew Jackson's background different from the previous presidents?

Jackson was not rich, not from one of the old , established American families. He had had little education and had no connection with the founding fathers, who fomented the American revolution, conducted the Revolutionary War and wrote and ratified the US Constitution. All of the presidents before him were "in on the ground floor", so to speak, either founding fathers or in the case of Quincy Adams, the son of a founding father, and so all had ties and position in the administration that came before them. Jackson's parents were poor immigrants and he lived in the Western frontier rather than on the seaboard.
Unlike the first six presidents, Jackson was the son of immigrants , had no connection to the any of the founding fathers and lived on the Western frontier rather than in Massachusetts or Virginia.

Andrew Jackson was the first frontier president which means he grew up away from cities like NYC. His family were Irish immigrants and he would have experienced some prejudice. His father also died when he was in his teens and that would have affected his views. The society as a whole was also was very prejudice against slaves and native Americans. Each of these made a difference on his views and presidential decisions. A good example of this is his allowing GA to take Native American lands. Yet he was against the national bank because he considered it an elite institution for the wealthy. Having grown up poor it seems that lesson stayed with him.
