They were related because both wars had the British in them, though the french and Indian war happened before the revolutionary war.

the french and Indian war was fought to keep the British colonies British the french was trying to take over all the English colonies the revolutionary was fought to keep all the colonies British by the British what goes around comes around

Because the British imposed taxes A.K.A. 'Acts' on the Americans due to huge debts from the F+I war... This made the Americans furious, and after events, such as the Boston Tea Party, the Americans started rebelling against the British Military occupying cities..... The British and Americans then fought the Revolutionary.... And it just goes on and on and on......
