well Jews were taken to ghettos ,concentration camps, or maybe to sudden death...and they were taken by the gestapo or the nazi officers and they were forced to go with them or else theyd be tortured and most of them were because they didnt want to leave their home

During the Holocaust, the Jews were taken from their homes to the nearly unlivable ghettos via extremely overcrowded box cars. Many of the Jew's journies and their lives were ended in those ghettos. Most of the ghetto survivors were taken again via overcrowded boxcars to work/death camps where MILLIONS were killed.

In Western Europe they were usually taken to a transit camp, and from there they were sent to one of the major camps in Poland.
