In 14,000 years from now, the sun's output may have changed by a few percent,
or our average distance from it may have changed slightly. Either of those changes
would have a profound effect on the Earth's average climate.
But the precession of the rotation axis has no effect on the climate or the seasons.
Currently, winter occurs in the northern hemisphere when Earth is closets to the Sun. But when the axis tilts toward Vega, winter will occur in the northern hemisphere when earth is farthest from the sun, and summer will occur when earth is closests to the sun.
As long as the sun continues to shine with roughly the same energy output,
the seasons won't change at all on account of precession of the earth's axis.
The axis will still incline about 23.5 degrees from the perpendicular to the
ecliptic plane, and the annual variation of solar angle at any place on earth
will be exactly what it is now.
As long as the sun's output level doesn't change, there'll be no change in earth's weather
or climate that's due to the direction in which the earth's axis points.
They mostly won't.
Anchor points are the points where you can select the point of the line and change shape or size of line.

Three main points.

The exact direction in which Earth's axis points is not so important; what matters is how much this axis is inclined. This doesn't change much over a precession cycle.
No single star points towards Polaris.
Currently the Earth's pole points toward Polaris in Ursa Minor. 5000 years ago it pointed towards Vega.
You dont. it changes by itself. You can actually SET the seasons. At the top left, in the neighborhood view, click the icon for Seasons. There, you can set which ones you have (or don't), and what order. Your sims can also, with aspiration reward points) get a device to change weather and seasons some.
the maple leafs have had 3 seasons where they had 100 points or more
The constellation points to the pole star (Polaris).
North star also called Polaris

It does but only a little. It is almost directly above the Earth's North Pole so that the axis of rotation points towards Polaris.
The Earth spins on its tilted axis. This tilt is what causes the seasons. When its axis points towards the sun then it is Summer when it points away is winter.
Polaris is the north star.
It's not so much the North Star (Polaris) that has changed; stars do change, but usually not very quickly. What has changed is the direction of Earth's axis of rotation in space. It currently points almost exactly towards Polaris, but this will change over time.
