You should minimal clean your cat litter pan 2 a week, and you can use cat friendly desinfect. You should also shovel your cat his poo immediately after he is done. So the litter pan stays cleaner.

∙ 9y agoClean the litter box out with some soap and water, also adding Vinegar to the soap & water, about 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water and let it soak in the litter box for an hour or so. This will get rid off any odors & disinfect also. Try using a litter box spoon to clean out the clumps of urine and poo every day. Use the type of litter that clumps with urine.
