there should be a large vacuum source on the base of the carb. if not you'll need to tee off the one going to the power brake booster.
Any place that has constant vacuum Usually on the back side at the base of the carb.
It hooks up to the vacuum ports on the carb or intake.
The pcv valve should be in a rocker cover with a hose going to a constant-vacuum source such as the base of the carb of a port in the intake manifold.
sounds like a chevy motor 250 cid. you can go original which was built by rochester, believe it or not a decent parts store could hook you up. if you want a bit more power tou can look at summit racing or jegs. holley, carter, edelbrock all make something for you motor you can even by a 4 barrel intake manifold and carb for about 50 more horse power , my suggestion by a nice holley 2 barrel carb and a carb adapter

It has to be hooked to a vacuum port that only has vacuum on it when you give it gas, That is called ported vacuum. If you look at the holly, you will see some small vacuum ports on it, start engine and witch ever one don't suck on your finger then that will be the 1 you hook it to. Then plug the rest if you don't need them for something else.

There should be a vacuum source on the carb above the throttle body that gives spark ported vacuum. You can connect a tube from this source to the distributor.
There is a hook on the end of the slide hook it onto the loop inside the carb.
The EGR valve is mounted to the intake manifold usually on the passanger side of the engine back near the distributor. You will have to pull the air cleaner off to see it or reach it easily.
There should be a drain valve where you can hook up a hose and then open the valve to drain.
