The fan blows air out the front vents and doesn't change to floor, defrost or bi-level. I can adjust the temp and fan speed. A week before I noticed this, the HVAC display blacked out until I restarted.
I have the exact same issue with my 2004 Pacifica. In my case, however, a week before, it was switching from air blowing to the floor, then the center vents then the defroster all by itself without my input. Finally, it rested on the center vents and now that's only where air blows from. If anyone knows the answer, please email me at rose11422@gmail.com
It is inside the HVAC housing, under the dash.
There is not a fuel filter to change on a 2004 pacifica. They use the sock in the tanks for that, apparently.
It is on the starter.

The jack for a 2004 Pacifica is located under the storage compartment in the back of the rear most seats. Open the storage compartment lid, then lift out the storage tray.
