Yes, parts of it. I work for Rutgers--it's a really big place. There are three Rutgers Universities: New Brunswick, Newark & Camden. All three are separate schools & you will be accepted into them separately. Both Newark and Camden are urban campuses (and I know those cities have bad reps, but honestly, the university districts are kept nice). At Rutgers New Brunswick, there are four different geographical campuses--still all under Rutgers New Brunswick. The Cook/Douglass Campus, Livingston Campus, and Busch Campus are all pretty suburban college campuses. The College Avenue Campus (used to be called Main Campus) is in downtown New Brunswick, and is urban.
Rutgers University has several locations in the US. The campuses are located in New Brunswick-Piscataway, New Jersey, Newark, New Jersey and Camden, New Jersey. Rutgers was established on November 10, 1766.

Yes, Rutgers offers a RT program through UMDNJ in Newark and the Camden area.
You will need to talk to the people at Rutgers. They will have the specific requirements for transfer of credits.
GPA might not matter as much as being able to spell RUTGERS. They say that it is important, but as long as you have a 3.5 you should be fine
103 miles.
there is an Ikea in Elizabeth near Newark Airport
Deff Newark. Take it from someone whos been to both schools. New Bruns may have more of a college feel/parties ect. But if u rly want to get a *Rutgers* Education. Chose Newark, It gives you easy access to internships and ur right in the middle of the city, giving you that real world experience. My best friend is a Criminal Justice Major at RU Newark. Hope this helped.
