I've told my ex that I still like her and she acts like she likes me but she hasn't said it and she told me that four other people like her so I'm confused as to whether she likes me or not?

Your ex is playing little games and obviously has a very high opinion of herself. What she is basically saying is she likes the candy shop she's in and has the option of picking anything she wants. This leaves you hanging in mid air and she is not considerate of your feelings and using these so-called men that are interested in her. Some women can have a warped sense of realization as to why some men are interested in them. Yes, one or two men may be truly interested in her if she's attractive or has an infectious personality, but the truth is (and it's been this way for years) when you have either been going out on a steady basis with someone or been married, men feel that "this woman has gotta have it" and off the male hormones go. Some men have a sense of stealing another man's woman and it titillates them. These are not good reasons to have a good and healthy relationship. When I left my first husband I got an immediate separation and filed for divorce. I was broken up over the failure of my marriage so I was in no hurry to start up in the dating circuit. I was considered very attractive. Oh yes, I had lots of men sniffing around me, but I was smart enough to know, "she's divorced and hot to trot ... she's just gotta have it" and yes, I was damned fussy who I decided to go out with. I got stung on a couple of occasions where men though because they had taken me for an expensive dinner and out dancing that I owed them a "sqeak between the sheets" and I would end up paying for my own dinner and telling them to bugger off! My father told me this when I was about 18, "You are a very attractive young women, but remember, work on your inner self, because there is always someone around the corner that's more attractive and if you don't work on your soul and go on your looks, looks fade so you'd better have something good inside of you." I never forgot those words and it was one of the best pieces of advice I have received. What my father said was true and it's proved over and over again every day of our lives. You are in control of your destiny, so don't sit around and allow her to call the shots. It's time you realized you are ex's and get out in that dating circuit again. Good women don't play these games and there is someone special out there for you, but if you hang around your ex, you sure won't find this special someone.
