Microsoft download has floppy disk images available for download.
You do not have to reinstall Windows if you wish to add an additional drive. If you want to be able to boot from that drive, or to replace your current boot drive, you will need to install Windows on it.

You set the bios to CD boot. After that reinstall windows with a windows xp cd.

You can make it the default option in the bootloader. Or you could reinstall the Windows bootloader, but it will not allow you to boot Linux without modification.

Normally, the computer will not boot. And you will have to reinstall Windows XP.
Try with pressing F8 whilst starting up.
Reboot and press F12 (on my computer, at least) to enter the temporary boot sequence. Boot from the CD and then there you can make changes to the installation and then ultimately install the OS.
you need a bootable OS nstallation CD.
If you told the installer to use the entire hard drive, Windows will be erased. If you told it to resize the partitions on the disk, Windows should still be bootable from the GRUB boot menu. If the installer was interrupted before GRUB could be installed, Windows is probably still intact, but lacks any boot loader to launch it. Reinstall Linux to fix the problem.
