However - these are the facts: You are legally an adult - you have committed a crime (Theft) against another person - and you KNOW you've committed an offense. In the end your Mom is not stupid. She KNEW she had $100 and she can probably trace the disappearance of it back to when you were around. She probably knows already! Your best course of action is to confess this unthinking act to your Mom - come clean and ask her forgiveness.
