I am married man who cheated. I drink too much and I am never really happy. I just want to be happy and be less selfish...what can I do. My wife is awesome..but I seem hell bent on ruining it.?

The indications that you give are quite understandable. You cheated and you drink to excess, so of course you will try to push your wife away from you. You are a good person, but you definitely have made some wrong choices. My suggestion here is to sit across from your wife and tell her everything. Hiding things will only push you farther away. You need to tell her the time, place, form and event of every single thing you have done wrong against her. And this is not limited to what you did, but can also include what you didn't do.
