It sounds like you have a medical condition known as Pica. Pica is an appetite for non-nutritive substances (e.g., coal, soil, chalk, paper etc.) or an abnormal appetite for some things that may be considered foods, such as food ingredients (e.g., flour, raw potato, starch). See the link below for more information. There may be a particular substance that is in cornstarch that your body is craving for some reason, and there may be a solution to it other than eating cornstarch or a substitute. On further research I have discovered the exact term for your condition is Amylophagia. Please see the link below concerning this subject for more information.
sure, but why do you want to use it. Cornstarch is used as a thickener, and is activated when reaching waters' boiling point. Not sure if this answers your question or not. If I am to guess, you are wanting to substitute the cornstarch for baking soda/baking powder. Again, I may be wrong about why you want to use it. As far as I know, cornstarch doesn't function like baking powder/soda in baking. The two act as leavening agents (creating air bubbles in baked goods), if this is your line of thinking, then cornstarch would not substitute. Hope this helps! Happy cooking, I love waffles!
There isn't a perfect rhyme for "Apollo" that means happy. However, you could consider using the word "blissful" as a rhyming substitute.
IF nothing makes you happy, then maybe you should go see a therapist. However, If you are already seeing a therapist and nothing is making you happy, then you should try eating cake. If cake doesn't make you happy, I don't know what will.
