I changed my blower motor resistor on my 2001 Pontiac grand prix twice and its gone out both times It will work for a day then go out what is my problem now do I need to replace the motor it self?

It Sounds As If Your Motor Is Going Bad, Like The Bearings Are Going Out. Causing It To Take More Current To Run And Burning Up The Resistor. You May Also Have A Wire Not Making A Good Connection Which Would Cause It To Draw Excessive Amperage. I Would Check The Wiring Pluged Into The Motor To See If All Is Well. Then Proceed To The Blower Good Luck

Your wiring is probably messed up, happened to me. Locate the wires from the blower to the controls check them and replace as needed. Assuming no wiring problem check and replace the blower motor resistor.
