I have 16 hen that were dumped in my yard can someone help give me more advice on how to get rid of them aside for dep. or catching myself?

Having no idea of where you live, on a farm or in a rural house with no property or even a city dwelling, my best suggestion is to contact a local farmer, the Local 4H club or ASPCA. The chickens will wander away if no source of food is available and predators will get them. Chickens look for a roost at night and if you have to catch them yourself, that is the best time to do it.

I would cut them up first though.
