Check your battery cables. Some computerized vehicles have to be reset. Disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes and then reconnect.

It sounds like your alarm system has a kill switch on it. You might want to check the wiring system. Not all colors on an alarm system wires are universal. If it came with instructions, check the wiring colors to make sure they match up.
