I had the hood open when my Acura did this and heard a slight hissing from the Fuel-Injector. Then the "check engine" light clicked off and the engine fired right up. I'm working on a 1990 integra did the same thing and I have to say there is a loose connection in the Main relay it's under the kick panel under the steering wheel 10mm bolt burnt brown color it will say something like mitsuba Main relay good luck =)
Simple, first you want to remove the plastic cover from the head (this covers the plug wires) then remove the wires and spark plugs. Once that is done remove the engines ground its on the right side of the engine its a small brown wire near the front of the engine. Then all you have to do is remove the bolts holding the head in place, and that's about it...
there should be a dip stick the middle of the headers, oil is be at least at the second dot on the dip stick. if oil is dark brown u need to change oil if its not really dark brown u should be good. changing oil between 3000-5000 miles is recommended to keep the engine running for a longer life

Brown. Not smell funny
In my 91 Integra LS, the relay is under the steering wheel, underneath the dash, Its really hard to see, but it is brown and hard to get it off. Just look under the dash about even or a little off to the drivers side door. Benjamin Nichols Baldwin, WI
There is not a car made by Honda called an Integra, however Acura does make an Integra. For the 1990 Acura Integra, the radio constant 12v+ wire is blue/white, the radio switched 12v+ wire is yellow/red, the ground wire is black, the illumination wire is red/black, and the antenna trigger wire is yellow/white. For the front speakers, the left front speaker wire (+) is blue/green, the left front speaker wire (-) is gray/black, the right front speaker wire (+) is red/green, and the right front speaker wire (-) is brown/black. For the rear speakers, the left rear speaker wire (+) is blue/yellow, the left rear speaker wire (-) is gray/white, the right rear speaker wire (+) is red/yellow, and the right rear speaker wire (-) is brown/white.

It is under the dash to the left of the clutch pedal looking up, a little dark brown box with a black box around it. It is under the dash to the left of the clutch pedal looking up, a little dark brown box with a black box around it.
Oil, check the dipstick to see if it has the same color, if so , you may need to have engine gasket replacement, or engine structural issues..
It is supposed to be red (Dexcool), brown means it got burnt when the engine got hot
