I have a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo i was installing a radio and i tried to turn my ignition while the dash was off and its locked as though i have the wrong key are there any suggestions on whats wrong?

try jiggling the key, and you shouldn't have put the key in the ignition in the first place you idiot, but you should either have a locksmith look at it, or jiggle the key a bit, my montero does that, but i didnt take off the dash you retard

You have a 1999 Pontiac grand am and the ignition switch is locked up on it the key won't turn at all the steering wheel isn't locked though any suggestions?
you need to replace your ignition in the steering column or take it apart and rebuild it. having a locksmith work on it might cost you less then replacing it though.
