I would not think it is the Hazard switch. The one thing all these have in common is ground. Check all your ground connections.
Probably a faulty multifunction/stalk switch.
It is built into the multifunction switch which controls your signals, high beams,cruise,etc...have to replace entire unit.
The multifunction switch inside the steering column is bad.
turn signals won't work. changed all the bulbs. Hazard lights work. 1999 Chrysler Sebring hardtop
As far as I know , the multi-function switch is the switch for your turn signals , flash to pass , hazard lights etc . It is inside the steering column
Under the center of the dash, in front of the console, mounted on the firewall. This one flasher controls the hazard lights and turn signals.
The only thing common to all those lights (but not to the center brake light) is the hazard switch. I'd check that next. On my 96 Century the hazards override the signals and brake lights meaning that the signals and brake lights must be wired into the hazard switch somehow.
fuses are ok. replaced ignition multifunction switch and hazard, turn signal, cruise etc. switch. checked grounds. hazard lights when ignition is off but not in the on position. thanks Joe lapointe
In the steering wheel column. The hazard toggle switch is connected to it.
Inside your steering column , the turn signal lever and hazard flasher button are parts of the multifunction switch that stick out from the steering column
On a Ford Taurus : The multifunction switch is INSIDE the steering column cover The turn signal lever and hazard flasher button stick outside of the cover
Usually not repairable, you will have to replace the complete multifunction switch.
